Jon Pearson grew up in a small town in the heart of Leicestershire called Melton Mowbray. Jon left his sixth form college in 2001 with an A level in IT, having taken three A levels and only passing one Jon decided that the education route was not one that he wished to pursue so he skipped any retakes and going to university and opted to start on the bottom wrung of a career ladder. With a little help from people in the know, he applied to become an Apprentice IT Technician at a medium sized business where he began to gain qualifications through the vocational route. Having gained an Advanced Diploma in IT systems and support in 2005 Jon felt it was time to move on and applied for an IT techinician job at a local college.
It was whilst working at the college that Jon met his now long term girlfriend Nicola who was studying for a degree in Performance Arts at De Monford University. After a short stay of 10 months at the college in which Jon became increasingly frustrated with what seemed a lack of responsiblity from managers and senior staff, Jon was given the oppurtunuty to go back to his original place of work but this time as a Support Analyst/Senior Technician for the companies site in the West Midlands. Jon took the challenge of finally having what he describes as "his own train set to play with" by the scruff of the neck and is still currently working in the West Midlands as a Senior IT Analyst for the company.
Now living in Walsall with Nicola, Jon is pursuing a personal goal of posting articles on the web for people to read (as well as holding down a day job). He realised his ambition to become a known "blogger" when discussing random topics with his friends in a pub late into the evening, when suddenly it occurred to him that if HIS friends enjoy talking about random subjects then maybe other people will too. Many of the random topics that he will discuss here on his site will/have been formed from such converstation either with his friends or with Jon's former supervisor and creator of Minshaw.co.uk (although some of the subjects talked through with minshaw could get them both into allot of trouble).
Since beginning posting on the web in December 2006 Jon has begun to receive more and more traffic to his website from blogging on random topics such as: Thundercats Vs He-Man and Mutant Powers, and these Jon assures you are the tame posts. He currently has at least 3 more projects that he is working on before he will unleash them on the world and begin blogging on his findings (all depending on whether Nicola allows him to do them aswell).
If you wish to contact Jon he is available through the following email address, but please no time wasters.
